ABSTRACT
The core competitiveness of an economy remains contingent upon finding a new energy development strategy for sustainable development and a transition towards a sustainable future. Nuclear energy is a type of energy resource that can meet the needs of industrial production; it is a comprehensive industry related to national economic development and energy security. In this chapter, we will examine the experiences of different countries in the field of nuclear energy to determine the extent to which nuclear energy has contributed to bridging the gap between energy supply and demand, as well as how it has contributed to solving environmental challenges in these countries.
